We will specialize on Saddles, Bridle work and Accessories such as Bits, Girths and Numnahs etc all selected from top suppliers by our expert team.
We will also provide made to measure Bridle and Leather work to client specifications as well as an precise fitting, adjustment and repair service from highly experienced and qualified staff.

Peter Lewis, the owner of Pointings, is a Society of Master Saddlers qualified Saddle fitter with over 40years experience.
He has been a President for the Society of Master Saddlers, A Chairman of B.E.T.A and is currently on the Court of the Worshipful Company of Saddlers. He also gives lectures on saddle fitting, including the annual BVA refresher course.
He is highly regarded within the industry and fits quality saddles for a range of clients, from first ponies up to top competition horses.

Alison Kinge

Ally had passed her Bridle work exams before joining the Pointing’s team, Peter had noticed her extraordinary talents in leatherwork coupled with her many years experience working around horses, So she was snapped up to become Peter’s apprentice Saddle fitter as well as to produce beautiful handcrafted bridle work.

Clive Whereatt

Clive has been a fully qualified master saddler in excess of 25years. He is an expert in the making and repairing of Harness, Bridles and Saddles. His speciality is working with Peter’s fitting analysis to adjust and fine-tune the saddles to provide an exquisite fit that results in comfortable, performance enhancing results.
